Training from Kenson is firmly based on practical experience and professional delivery. When not leading training courses, our trainers, all of whom are SolarWinds Certified Professionals, work on a variety of consultancy projects for customers. In so doing they have been able to gain broad knowledge and experience of the day to day challenges of implementing, configuring and managing SolarWinds systems of widely varying scopes and sizes. They also have a wide range of technical, practical and ITIL Best Practice knowledge. They bring all of this considerable knowledge and experience of real situations into the classroom.
We continuously run a series of class room based courses from our training centre in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. Alternatively we can also provide on-site training to customers who would prefer to have a group of staff trained at their location.
Our flagship course is our 4 day comprehensive course on SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor (NPM). All aspects of installing, configuring, tuning and administering Orion Network Performance Monitor, its Modules and integration with the SolarWinds Engineers Toolset is covered. This course is divided into two parts with the first two days covering all aspects of Orion NPM and its supporting protocols and the latter two days NCM, IPAM, NTA and the other modules. Trainees can, if they wish, attend the first two days of the course, Part 1, and then return at a later date to do the second two days, Part 2. The 4 day course will equip attendees with all the SolarWinds information required to successfully negotiate SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) accreditation.
Courses include practical sessions to provide hands-on experience of setting up the core software and modules and integrating their data into the web console. Exercises ensure participants are well versed in the configuration of reporting and alerting functions. Throughout the course delegates are helped to interpret the results produced and encouraged to experiment with different configurations to see how they might affect the results.
Kenson appreciate that 'off the shelf' training courses do not suit every situation. That is why we offer training in a wide range of Network Management and Best Practice subject areas from which we can tailor a course to suit your specific requirements.
