On April 17th and April 18th we visited Bristol and London for our first ever SWUG Roadshow events with SolarWinds! We were delighted to see such a great turnout on both days, with happy customers leaving more informed and up to date on their SolarWinds products.
Our Bristol event started with a delicious lunch at 12pm and our London event started with breakfast and coffee at 9am sharp. Paul Parker, Chief Federal Technology Officer for SolarWinds, then took customers through new SolarWinds features and updates, followed by a SolarWinds End-User experience given by Robert Browning. Darryl Drinkwater, Head of Professional Services for Kenson, then gave a talk on ‘Why IT Managers Don’t Need to Worry About GDPR,’ which was an extremely useful topic given the changes currently happening in GDPR. The end of the event consisted of an open forum with Paul Parker, Robert Browning and Darryl Drinkwater, where customers could ask and discuss any questions they had.
If you haven’t been to one of these events already and you are an active SolarWinds user, we highly recommend you attend one. You will have the opportunity to get one-to-one help and advice from SolarWinds professionals, who can show you how to overcome them in a participant focused and relaxed environment. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet other SolarWinds customers and find out about all the latest features and updates before anyone else!
Paul Parker – SolarWinds Chief Federal Technology Officer: “Working with our partner community is extremely important. Kenson are working actively with customers on a day to day basis which gives us better feedback and helps us understand what we can bring to the customer.”
“These events are an opportunity for customers to get face to face and learn some of the new things that are coming up on the road map. As well as this, they will learn some of the initiatives that are underway and really continue to polish their skill set.”
Customer testimonial: ” The reason I came today was to see live demos, product updates and new features. A great benefit of these events is the opportunity to interact with other members of the community.”
